The Silverhawk is the first of the new "Hawk" designs produced by Chesterton Aviation. The Lead Design Engineer,
Christopher Salzer recently left Hughes Aviation to work with us, and he brought several of his ideas with him, including
the design of the Silverhawk. You'll notice the striking similarity to the Bloodhawk, which was also based on Salzer's
design. However, without Salzer's guiding hand, Hughes had to build their version on a larger airframe, making it less
nimble than the Silverhawk. The Silverhawk also carries more armor than the Bloodhawk.
A few of our pilots have asked for customizations to their Silverhawks which make the following modifications. One 40
cal machine gun is dropped and replaced with a 30 caliber. The extra weight is used to add additional armor to the leading and
trailing edges of each wing.
